Project in numbers
During the engagement, we expanded market coverage from the initial 10 to 21 countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, England, the Netherlands, Greece, Ireland, Romania, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Over 5 years, sales of the Nature's Finest brand increased by 3.75x, confirming the exceptional impact of the comprehensive digital overhaul and the introduction of advanced e-commerce solutions. The key to this growth was the focus on platform flexibility, business process automation, and user experience optimization.
During platform development, we made 3,526 code changes, distributed across 165 separate development branches. This approach enables parallel work on multiple enhancements without disrupting site operations. For marketing and the business, this means rapid market adaptation and efficient rollout of new features.
Challenge
Updating the web platform for higher efficiency and sales performance
The existing website was technologically and visually outdated and no longer allowed adding new functionality. Due to system constraints, introducing sales tools was challenging, which negatively affected online sales efficiency. Creating new landing pages was also time-consuming and design-limited, which reduced rapid responsiveness to market needs.
Our solutions
Advanced e-commerce with separate markets and flexible functionality
We designed a comprehensive digital overhaul based on the open-source WordPress platform. It provides high modularity, flexibility, and scalability.
As part of the overhaul, we migrated all products, preserved data integrity, and optimized the structure for easier management. We built a UX-optimized cart and a dynamic checkout that enable content customization and integration of sales tools such as discounts and product recommendations. The platform supports multiple online stores within a single WP instance, where each can have its own prices, discounts, and tax rates, enabling centralized management while remaining adaptable to local markets.
Nature's Finest e-commerce platform
We placed WooCommerce at the core of the e-commerce solution, a robust and extensible system for end-to-end management of the sales flow. To operate efficiently across initially 10, and today already 21, markets and to deliver a personalized multilingual experience, we used WPML with a multi-currency extension, enabling a fully localized user journey.

Smart sales functionalities to increase order value
To increase sales effectiveness, we developed a set of advanced functionalities. These include a dynamic free-shipping threshold calculator, targeted special offers in the cart, at checkout, and even after order submission (post-purchase upsell), as well as discounts for larger quantities of identical products and automatic gift allocation when purchasing three of the same product. In addition, we built capabilities for priority shipping and shipment insurance, further strengthening users' sense of security and value. We developed a proprietary solution for managing bundled products that supports different tax rates for each product within a bundle, which is critical for operating across multiple markets with varying tax legislation.
Advanced landing page builder for maximum conversion and flexibility
As part of the project, we developed an advanced visual landing page builder with 38 highly configurable content blocks that enable dynamic page assembly without any coding. The blocks include features such as direct purchase within the landing page, shortening the sales funnel and increasing conversions. Some blocks can automatically pull data from product pages, while others display shared content that is entered in one place and then automatically shown across multiple locations.
A particularly useful capability is letting a successful landing page fully replace the layout of a product page, enabling testing of high-conversion layouts. With various integrations, we further optimized the user experience; for example, a user can land on a target page with the product already in the cart and the payment form open. Landing pages can be designed as standalone entities or as part of a larger website.

Dynamic exports for efficient management of multi-market platforms
To support the client's multichannel sales model, we developed a scalable solution for automated and dynamic export of product data. Since the client works with numerous partners and platforms in different countries, a key requirement was easy transfer of up-to-date product data into various systems. Our custom solution enables export in 14 different formats, optimized for 21 markets. Exports run partly automated via cron-job processes and partly manually, ensuring high operational control and flexibility. The integration streamlines product information management and enables effective execution of sales strategies globally.
Advanced integration of analytics systems to optimize marketing effectiveness
The company has a sizable marketing department, so one of the tasks was integrating multiple analytics systems for precise campaign measurement and data-driven marketing decisions. To ensure high accuracy, we implemented five different analytics platforms, with the advanced Facebook Conversion API standing out. This solution enables conversion measurement directly at the server level, independent of cookies. Such integration supports real-time performance tracking and optimization of marketing strategies to achieve maximum ROI.
Automated export of user reviews to increase organic reach
Organic user reviews are key to optimizing product visibility and credibility on the Google Shopping platform. We therefore developed a robust capability for collecting and automatically exporting all user ratings from all Nature's Finest online stores into a single XML file. The system consolidates reviews by product regardless of language, enables segmented exports for each market, and provides editorial control over the selection of content displayed. In addition, we implemented an automated reminder system that prompts the customer to submit a review after a set time. The entire process is fully automated, increasing efficiency and improving organic reach without additional manual work.
Automated bulk management of product data
With more than 700 products across 21 markets, manual updates of key data such as prices, descriptions, and titles were inefficient and time-consuming. We therefore developed an advanced bulk data import capability via Excel files. The system supports importing products, product categories, and user reviews from various external platforms, enabling centralized and optimized content management and accelerating operational efficiency.
Results
In the period 2020–2024, the number of markets where the Nature's Finest brand is present doubled. Sales in this time almost quadrupled, confirming the effectiveness of the implemented digital solutions and optimized sales processes. They also managed to increase the number of orders, a direct result of the improved user experience, automated sales tools, and the platform's adaptability in dynamic markets. This growth underscores the strategic success of the digital transformation and the agility in responding to market challenges.
