The company operates both domestically and internationally, with branches in Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia. With in-house customs brokerage, they ensure high quality and reliability of their services.

Challenge

Alfa SP was growing and expanding across different countries, which created the need to unify access, gain control over hardware, and increase the security of the server environment. In addition, it was necessary to migrate email and documents to Microsoft 365, establish a virtual connection between locations and servers, and replace employees’ existing hardware. The client wanted a reliable system that enables employees to work without interruptions and provides centralized management of the IT environment, while also ensuring rapid resolution of any issues. 


Our solutions

Migration and segmentation of the Microsoft 365 environment 

We migrated all files and email into a secure and scalable Microsoft 365 environment, and at the same time introduced access segmentation and automated data backups. With the integration of Microsoft Defender, we significantly raised the level of cybersecurity and established centralized visibility into threats. By standardizing groups and the entire environment, we ensured a unified, controlled system that enables employees to work without interruption and the IT team to manage efficiently. 

Replacement of hardware and moving servers to the cloud 

We replaced all employees’ hardware with new equipment, which we refresh regularly. We moved the servers to the HF cloud, which increased system reliability, speed, and availability, while also providing backups at remote locations. In this way, we created a stable and secure environment that supports the company’s growth and enables rapid recovery in the event of issues. 

Centralized management and oversight 

We established centralized oversight of all systems with automated security updates and real-time proactive monitoring. The standardization of all devices and servers, together with advanced monitoring, enables issues to be detected and resolved before users notice any disruptions. In this way, we ensure high availability, fast responsiveness, and a robust IT environment, while reducing the need for internal IT coordinators and enabling smooth operations at all locations. 


Results

With the introduction of a modernized IT ecosystem, Alfa SP transformed its digital environment into a stable, secure, and scalable platform that supports the company’s growth. Centralized oversight and device standardization enable proactive monitoring and automatic security updates, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. Migration to Microsoft 365 with the integration of Microsoft Defender has increased cybersecurity. New hardware and the HF cloud provide speed, robustness, and uninterrupted work for employees.
